The following Medical and Vision plan(s) are available to all eligible permanent employees. Coverage is effective the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. Enrollment must be completed within the CareFirst systems with 30 days of your hire, or eligibility date.

If you have a Qualified Life Event (QLE) such as a marriage, birth/adoption of a child, loss of other coverage, divorce, death, etc. You will have 30 days from the date of your QLE to report the event to the HR department and make changes to your current enrollment. If you do not make or report any changes during this time; you will have to wait until the next Open Enrollment Period in order to make changes to your enrollment status.

The Vision Insurance plan is a Voluntary plan offered by WHC. Premiums will be payroll deducted on a pre-tax  basis for those that enroll in this benefit.

Semi-Monthly Payroll Deductions are as follows:

Employee Only – $4.50

Employee & Child(ren) – $8.50

Employee & Adult – $10.50

Employee & Family – $12.50
